Eco-Boost in 2011 F150
I generally subscribe to the 'bigger is better' philosophy and have been dieing for Ford to put the 6.2 motor in an Expedion, but after reading about the Truck V6 Eco Boost at Ford.com that's available in the F150, I think I'd give it a shot. Definately truck and towing tuned, it's rated at 55 HP and 55 ft/lbs of torque more than the current 5.4 motor and delivers more torque at 1700 rpm than the 5.4 makes at peak. Anyone driven one in a F150? I've been waiting for a new powerplant to be avaialble before selling my current '05 EB, hopefully the wait won't be too long now.....
