Cab mounts for a 1990 F250?

I have looked high and low for cab mounts for a 1990 F250 with no luck. I would think some company would make them considering it being a common rust prone area. Ive found many floor pans but no mounts! Ive checked JCW, LMC, Raybuck, Mill supply?, Keystone no mounts only pans. has anyone found any mount kits or do i need to find a truck with decent ones and cut them out?

cut them off another cab, or fabricate your own... I made a set of heavy duty ones so i wouldn't have to worry about rust again.

I agree here. The problem with this year span of the trucks. ( I love the 87-91 F trucks ) is there to new for the aftermarkets to make some of the hard parts and too old for Ford to still make. I would check with a local dealer as they might have been the same for years newer and if so would still be available. If not your best bet will be a junk yard or making a new set on your own.

Are you looking for the part on the Cab, or the part on the frame?

Yea that's going to be a very hard to find part. like I said maybe a junkyard out west or fab your own. I wish you the best of luck I know what kind of a pain it is to try to find some of the stuff for these years trucks.

LMC has mounts for 80 -86 I wonder how much change they made? there like $70 each thoe! Might be pricey chance?

Autoabody Specialties in Middle Field CT has someone in house that fabs them. I bought some for my 88 f250 resto. They are a pretty big company and speacialize in many makes and model trucks and cars. I think they have a website as well. They don't fit perfect but then again almost none of the aftermarket sheetmetal does.

Glad I could help. If your going through the trouble of replacing the cab mounts buy the front pan as well. It will make life much easier. Also be sure to weld in some bracing between the pilliers. I will try to post some pics or I can send you some pics via email showing the step by step process I did to replace them.

click on my name and take a look at the album i created. I am working on finding the rest of the pics that I took. Let me know if you have any questions. I may have done an overkill in some people's eyes but my work will still be on the truck and solid for years to come.
