it is fairly common with big tires and abuse. What I did was use a second piece of frame from a donor truck and cut out a "patch" piece to go over the origional frame. I stop drilledthe cracks,"V"ed them and welded them up then ground downthe welds and fully welded the patch panel over it all. It worked for about 10 years before I changed frames because of rust.

If its a 4X4 frame the easiest fix is to weld a 1/4" plate onto the frame behind the stearing box. This is a common problem and if you replace the frame with another you might be haveing this problem again anyways. Just make a cardboard template to mark the shape and size of the plate and where the bolt holes for the power stearing box need to go. I just did mine last year. I had about $30 into it.
