Hey guys, MY remote start car alarm should be delivered today. I am going to undertake this project myself with a friend or two. Unfortunately I have never done this before. Cant afford to have it installed, but need it (truck got broke into last week for the second time) So im sure it will have some sort of basic instructions, but i trust you guys on here more! Any help would be apreciated. i know i will need wireing diagrams etc...
Thanks for the help

I am not sure on yours, but most you will need a bit writer to program.

I put an auto starter in mine about a year and a half ago. No problems at all, I did need a few questions answered and guess what? Everyone here was more than helpful. i do recommend a few yoga classes before install though. Laying on the floor of the truck reaching up under the dash tends to cramp you up after a while...LOL

not gonna lie, I havent even started it. Its alot of wire and i am pretty nervous about messing it up. Think I might just find a profesional installer and let them do it. So right now the alarm is just sitting in my back seat. Probably gonna get broken into again and their gonna steal my alarm. Wouldnt that be something.

THAT'S Funny. But it would totally stink!
I know how I would feel!
No shame in doing research and making a decision to let a professional do the job. That's exactly what I did with my pinion seals. The more I learned, the more I realized there was 1 way to do it correctly or about 10 ways/things I might screw up and have to rebuild the rear. That could be the most expensive $190 I ever "saved". Found a local guy who's been doing it for 40 years and he got everything done perfectly.
