Home made remadies

So I was just messin around thinking about polishing my aluminum grill bezel and only had a small amount of polish and knew I would not have enough to do the hole thing and then my little one came out and asked if I would make some cool aid and it hit me "sugar" so I added some sugar to the bottle of a Turtal wax chrome polish and to my amazement it works, not sure what the bottle will look like tomarrow, but what the hec right?

So lets hear yours, what have you made?

Some others:

1. Grind up some chalk and make a paste with some water.

2. Make a paste with some salt, flour and vinegar.

3. Toothpaste (not the gel type).
