It would be a little happier if it were Friday! haha As slow as its been around this chapter I wonder if we'll break one page.

I know I haven't been online as much lately. I guess I've been busy soaking up every last minute of summer; no time to waste around here. All honestly though, I think this may have been the best summer ( weather wise ) ever, hardly any wind and lots of nice hot days...

Well Dave, looks like you guys got nailed again last night. Did you get any damages?

Happy to say, no, none. It got windy as hell, rained hard as hell, a tinny bit of little hail, and than it was gone within 15 min. I had jammed whe Wife's jeep and my Dads dually in the shop along with the two rigs that where already in there, and thew way it turned out they would have been fine outside.

So how has everything been going? How's the pickup been treating you?

I tell ya, we've dodged quite a few bullets this year. I bet your shop was packed to the walls, haha. We barely even had rain, maybe 2 to 3 min worth.

Truck's been running pretty good. Well aside from the new oil leak, but I think you saw that too. I was just about all saved up for all the parts but of course something came up and ate up half my funds... But hopefully here in august I'll have no issues and get the rest saved up. Did I mention how much better the truck accelerates at low rpm's now that the cat's were removed. Its like night and day difference; I love it!

We should get together again soon before summer's over, do some wheeling or grilling or both. haha

I'm down for some BBQ. Just let me know what day and I'll be there. I'll bring some scalloped patato's or something. Now I'll be thinking of food all day at work

Hell yeah! I love grilled chicken... If you decide not to make the ribs, let me know and I'll see if I can make mine. Only thing is they take about 5 to 6 hrs in the oven and about 1 hr smoking on the grill, but worth every damn minute of it.

i guess we could always grill up some corn on the cob, pretty good this time of year. But I'd be good with just burgers and dogs.

Well if that's the case a bunch of prime rib or tenderloins are always choice. lol But I know that would break my bank. Honestly though rib's would be pretty awesome if you ask me. Maybe we could both make some, that way we have two styles. And ribs are pretty reasonable price wise. Plus them chickens sound really good!

I guess I've only done beef ribs once, but that was before I realized most rib places use pork. I like either but only mastered cooking the pork ribs. Man I can't wait for this bbq! Getting hungry already...
