I can read basic codes. I have a very good friend who is a dealer tech with his own shop who does the heavy work for me. PM me if you like. I'm leaving to go out of town tomorrow afternoon and will be back late Sunday.
You can always go to AutoZone & they will read codes on OBDII Systems at no charge & even give you a printed read out. I use them from time to time.

Thanks Craig, but that is where I started. They did scan my truck but it's not picking up the real code. Everyone in the diesel forum says that the code they read is a soft code and that its not the one that set my engine light off. I need one that is better than their's I guess.
Casey, I missed that it was a diesel. I have seen that before with them. If William can't fix you up just try a good shop many times they won't charge you or just a minimum. But I'm sure William will be able to help out.

Thanks, I plan to give him a call this week. I just hope we can figure it out.
