1997 F250, will not start
Recently while making a short trip the above mentioned truck started missing. When I depressed the accelerator nothing happened, no power.
Holding down the accelerator the truck gained power and ran for 14 km
w/no recurrence of the afore mention loss of power, however, shortly after it lost Power again, and finally quit and would not start. I do believe it is something to do with the fuel pump, as when the water drain valve is open and I turn on the key there is no pressure and no fuel comes out of the fuel filter container. I am not sure where the fuel pump is located - the vehicle has 2 tanks and a switch. All fuses were checked and no problems found.

Sometimes the bowl won't drain till the cap is loosened. Have you changed the fuel filter and cleaned the screen in the bowl ( just down from top on drivers side in the bowl)? Fuel pump is below and behind the fuel filter canister. Check the fuel pressure with a tire gauge on the schrader valve.
Are there any codes? CEL come on? Recent oil change? HPOP resevoir full?
Also, welcome to fte. There's some really good help on here, I do what I can but there are a lot better.
