Has the spotlight, front and rear hitch welded to frame, along with rear bumper, so someone was doing some heavy towing with it. Already cut off the rear hitch and bumper.
What are the production numbers on these Rangers?
I'll make sure to post photos when it gets started.

not necessarily would it kill it's value, that 4.6 might, I know it's the police interceptor engine, but it kind of is a lacking engine, if I were going that route I'd try and out a 5.0 from an older interceptor, but pull the cv front suspension from an 06 or newer. that's the best one for our applications. once done right, I would say that to the right person one of these that has a built modern V8, 12" discs in the front, IFS, and is a true ranger might bring some big bucks! but to a guy who just wants an old truck to out around in or actually use, yes it would destroy it's value.

I too would think twice about making major modifications to your Ranger. More and more people are building them back at stock or very close to stock. A highly modified Ranger will bring about the same price as a highly modified F 100 (non Ranger). But then it is your truck and therfore the choice is yours to make and what ever choice you make will be welcomed by me and most others on this board.
I have a red and white 65 Ranger long bed (wish it was a short bed) The truck is a Colorado truck with only 42 thousand certified original miles. If you will e-mail me at MichellHC@aol.com I will add your truck to the Ranger registry.

Can you email me larger pics of the truck? Mostly the gorgeous interior.
I think the shortbed side tool box is neat too.
