2000 Ex turn signal relay location
Hey Guys,
I must be really freakin' stupid, but I have searched the other posts on here, but I still cannot locate where my relay switch is for my turn signals. I have some LED bulbs I put in and want to correct the hyperflash issue.
I have a new relay (EP27) I see some relays to the left of the steering wheel in the the fuse panel box, but in searching other posts I read where its located to the right of the steering column tucked back up in there. I've removed the insulator panel around the brake pedal but damn if I cant find it still. I've felt around up in there, but I dont want to just start yankin' on stuff.
Man, I wish it were the ones in the fuse panel box, I would have been done an hour ago.
Any tips or suggestions would be very appreciated...thanks in advance!

Well the schematic shows it being in the instrument panel relay block which is listed as near the center of the dash but when you look up the relay location it's listed as being in the LH side of the I/P. Typical Ford manuals. If it's working I just turn on the signals and listen for the clicking.

Well, I finally got it done yesterday. I ended up removing the lower portion of the dash, pretty easy too, only 8 screws held it in place. Once that was off, the relay was right there, easy swap. The LED's are flashin' at normal speed. It's a pretty cool, inexpensive upgrade. I did my front and rear flashers, and also the parking lights. Next mod this week is limo tint on all the windows. Next up in a couple weeks or so, is adding some fogs or some LED DRL's.
