FE rear sump (4X4) oil pan

Well I have looked here in the classifieds for an oil pan for my 360 and havent found anything...I looked at the milodon oil pans and really dont like the price...I tried looking for the one canton makes and could not find it . Does anyone have a part number ? Does anyone have a oem one they would like to sell along with the dipstick, tube and pickup . I currently have the 2wd version on my truck ...If anyone is interested or would like to trade that would be welcome too .....Thanks for any help in advance

You can't find one in the junkyards? If I were still in OKC I could have about 5 of them in 3 hours. Might take only two junkyards to get that many.

You can pull a used one off of a used car or truck for $5-$10 at a junk yard. It is a messy job, but, someone has to do it.

Usually the only reason someone would want to get rid of a functioning pan is either it was warped or bashed and it leaks.

I would look for a junk yard dog truck resting on blocks or rims (I would use jack stands though) with its front axle gone. That should be easy to find.

thats the problem up here in CT ..the engines that didnt run have been crushed and are long gone and the ones that are running are still in trucks...its snowing (again) so so I am not going to be running around the junk yards today or even this week !
the only good engines left in the yard are 351M/400 small blocks and 300L6s ...around here you get the " it runs good only 70,000 miles on it" untill you walk out and look at the "good running" engine that has no carb, dizzy and is full of water! ...there is one truck I havent asked about the pan ..he wants 700 for the truck '76 F250 4X4 360,(fullof water no dizzy or carb)np435 tranny but I dont need more junk in the yard and I'm not paying 700 for an oem oil pan.....hey if anyone has one with all the hardware I am more then willing to pay for shipping it doent matter where you are located ,I have some FE stuff comming to me from Alaska!
thanks

Chas1234, may I borrow your thread?

Ratsmoker,

You seem pretty familier with the OKC area boneyards, so, which ones should I hit when I start looking for good parts?

Good luck in Korea!

Chas, thanks for allowing my intrusion.

Chas,

Check the classifieds here more. There was someone in either VA/GA parting out three or four FE engines/trucks.

As for the boneyards. There is pull - a- part on 15th and robinson with all kinds of old ford trucks in the FE era. There is a good place on westminister between SE29th and NW10th somewhere called barbers. This guy will try and charge you 80 bucks for a bolt but you can get him down to very reasonable prices. There is also a good place on eastern between 29th and 44th that called carey's AAA. There is a whole lotta cool stuff there. There are so many more but these were usually the places for me.

I wish we had yards like that around here Everything is generally over priced ....I dont think engines with water in them and parts missing are worth $600 bucks ....but thats the way it is up here..

That kind of sucks man. Put a wanted ad in the classifieds too. It might get you something.. For may still sell the pan? I dunno. They still keep a few FE things around.
