Driver window won't stay glued

We have a 2000 Explorer and the driver window popped out of the track last year. I glued it back and it lasted about 6 months. After gluing it now, we're lucky to get a few weeks before it pops again. I've used both Epoxy and a windshield specific adhesive, both neither lasted.

Looking at replacement window regulators, they don't look like mine. Some even have configurations for bolts that go through the window.

I guess my question is this: is this an indication of worn regulators? Is there something else that could cause this problem?

Thanks...

You need to figure out what is binding. Even though it's difficult to get glue to stick to glass, the window should move pretty freely within the weatherstripping and seals. Maybe some cola was spilled along the door panel or the window is not aligned properly, causing excessive drag. When the adhesive releases the glass, can you move the window glass around pretty freely? I'd expect that if you were to let go of the glass it would want to drop inside the door. If it wants to stay put, there is something causing the glass to drag. I'd be focusing on making sure the window is located properly within the weather stripping and that the weather stripping is clean and not sticky. The window regulator won't be the source of the issue, unless it's alignment of the regulator.
