ground strap question
i have a 97 F350 and there is a ground strap on the passenger side firewall that is screwed to the firewall, but the other end is unattached. Where does it go? Im thinking the motor, but not for sure.

If its that long it goes to the EGR valve. One of the bolts " should" be one of the great PIA bolt with a stud on top type of thing.
and the ground wire goes on there.
Hood was grounded due to some of the under the hood lights needed body ground to work and a ground jumper works better then a grease filled hood hinge.

That would work but it's not the factory location, this wire should go to the rear most passenger side stud on the back of the lower intake.

You really can't have too many ground straps and it doesn't really matter where it's hooked up on the motor.
