Diesel Oil

Anyone here using Amsoil Diesel oil? I am thinking about switching and wanting to get some feedback. Does anyone know of any Amsoil dealers where I can get the product? Or who has it on shelf?

Diesel oil

Follow up from previous post. Put Amsoil diesel in Kubota Tractor and had very good results. Heat of engine decreased and increased mileage by almost 2 miles/gallon. Have put over 30 hours on tractor and no signs of darkening oil or clanking from cold start.

Put some in my diesel truck and again wow!!! Increased mileage by more than 2 miles/gallon!!! When towing or hauling what a difference. Engine runs so much cooler when hauling!!! Now going to put in transmission and gear box. I gotta say Amsoil does everything they say it would do. Anytine you reduce engine temps that's a good thing. Next thing is let's see how long before I change oil. Looking at going at least 15,000 miles before change. Maybe should become dealer and start selling.

Thanks for the feedback. I have tried most all diesel oils. Rotella was always the recommendation. Read my updated post. Amsoil may be a little more expensive, but so far have seen some amazing results.

I live in Addison county.

What type of results? Better mileage or cleaner oil at changes do you get oil analysis done?

Haven't changed the oil yet. But I keep checking and see how clean the oil stays on dip stick. Over 4,000 miles and oil still honey color. Same for Kubota tractor. Amsoil does have a analysis program to send to. Probably use that. Other results are cooler temps and easy starts. When I'm hauling up hills engine not losing power and shifting all the time. Much quieter when running or idleing.
