sea foam treatment
so thinking of giving my old 96 4.9 the sea foam treatment, anyone got any suggestions and so forth? you just run it in that line going from the brake booster to the intake right? Its just running doggy as crap with the a/c on and was hoping to get a little more power! Also what would be a good indicater that the cats are plugged? 132000 miles

You can temporarily remove the 02 sensor ahead of the cat to see if power returns, or take a pressure read at the bung hole. Should be less than 3psi. Or take to muffler shop & have checked. Habitual use of higher than 87 octane will poison & clog a Cat. If replacement is required 7 you have two inline, replace w/ a single hi-capacity unit.
