Is there a BODY code on the Warranty Plate? If so, post what it is.

The BODY code, when decoded lists this info.

Where in AK are you?

The Body code should be listed on the Warranty Plate.

I'll be in Anchorage next month. This will be our 4th vacation in the state since 2004: So far we've taken two cruises, one cruise-tour that included Denali.

This upcoming cruise-tour will include the Klondike as well. After it ends in Anchorage, we're going to explore the area on our own for an additional week.

Code

Thats great that your coming to Alaska. Its a great place to live.Only problem is getting parts shipped without giving a pint of blood.
We can keep in touch and maybe you could out to my hangar North of Anchorage and check out my new project along with others we have.

I will look at the warranty plate today and post it later..

Thanks
Phil

My bad! There is no BODY code for 1961/62 Econolines, 1963 was the first year.

However, I do have the info, as it was originally available in the separate Trim (upholstery) Catalog.

Someone years ago had removed the pages from the Trim Catalog, inserted them into the parts catalog that I acquired recently after the dealer in Pasadena CA folded.

These are the three trim codes offered for 1961/62 Econolines:

E01: Medium Beige Vinyl & Brown Twill Stripe Woven Plastic.

E02: Medium Beige Vinyl & Medium Beige Basket Weave Vinyl.

E03: Blue all Vinyl-Econoline Club Wagon only.

My parts catalog has colored pics of the swatches of the seat upholstery, headliner. I could remove them from the catalog, bring them along to AK.

Try smsautotfabrics.com for the upholstery, they are located in Canby Oregon.

btw: Following the GVW is the net HP which is prolly 79.

Reqeusting VIN Decoder and A/C help

FNG to the Econoline, with a 1967 Van, windows on passenger side, no windows on drivers side. Need to replace ALL the rubber and window channels, doors fill up with water when it rains.
Engine and Trans both seem to leak from every where!

Need to make it my daily driver, but desperate to add A/C here in New Orleans first, after stop fluid leaks.
VIN: E14AHA28023, Model: E140, Body: 389, Trans: G11
Previous owner stated it has a C4 transmission.

Unable to find any Econolines for parts, what other vehicles parts would fit? F150, Bronco, etc???
Appreciate any and all help.
