When I did my clutch last year (351w) I just used the standard torque spec "RFT" (Really F*@#ing tight) lol.
I think the real torque spec for the flywheel is right around 50-60 ft. lbs and the pressure plate depends on your clutch size
if i remember correctly 10 inch clutch is 15-20 ft lbs and the 11inch is 20-29 ft lbs or something close to that, I could be wrong though

i found 2 different torque specs on the pressure plate. i found 12-24 ft/lbs on a different website today, but on Friday i searched for a couple hours after this thread and found 20-29 ft/lbs a couple times. i did mine to 29 ft/lbs just for fun. it shouldn't make too much difference between 20-29 ft/lbs just as long as they are all the same torque so that the pressure plate fingers are all at the same distance from the throwout bearing.

Flywheel-- 75-85 ft/lbs
pressure plate-- 12-24 ft/lbs or 20-29 ft/lbs????

O christ. I didnt realize you brought up a dead thread.

To find out clutch size you have to measure it

dead thread.. dont care.. cause this pops up on google. I ordered a 10" clutch, dropped tranny and it was an 11" clutch. For $55 and the ease of the job with my new transmission jack, I'd of bolted a 10" for a few months but it wouldn't bolt up.

Not sure how to find out 10 or 11 without dropping tranny.
