Ford Part Number Cross Reference Guide???
Does anyone know of a Ford Part Number Cross Reference Guide for Ford P/N#'s? I was wondering because I have a P/N from an invoice from the PO and because of a recent discovery I am wondering if I have had an E99 or 99.5 part installed. The parts in question are my IDM and PCM. I was reading that there are voltage differances in the IDM's and not sure why the PCM was replaced. BTW it was done a local owned shop and not the dealer, I already tried to obtain an OASIS report.

You can also visually check and see what you have. If you find the PCM Code we can tell you if it is the Early 99 or not as well as the IDM.

Would AE give me that info? I need new Valve cover gaskets. Obviously, since I dicovered I have high temp RTV oozing out of my right valve cover. So I will have to buy those before I pull them and see which injectors I have, AD or AB. If I undertsand correctly those two are the E99 and late 99 injectors? I am just wondering if the PO matched everything up correctly. I have No idea why else the IDM and PCM would have had to be replaced.

Your more than welcome, might not be exactly what your looking for, PCM compatibility wise but it is very useful. Thanks for the reps Dan..

AD and AB injectors are both split shot type and an E99 or later PCM will work. As far as the Idms the E99 is a 110 Volt and the 9.5+ is a 120 Volt. Both can be modded to 140 Volts, but IMO it is not worth it if you get the right tunes.

If AE will run a Cyliner Rotaional Velocity Test then you do not have an E99 PCM.
