Has anyone ever used that headlight restoration kit and if so what was the out come? Good, bad, pictures?

I used the Meguires plastic polish with a pad and my electric drill....rotating SLOW - if real bad, use wet #1500-2000 sandpaper first. Used this on my '97 Lincoln. Might have to retouch about once a year. Looks crystal !

I just won a restorer kit as a door prize a wynn's I believe. Haven't tried it yet though.

Never touched them with sandpaper and actually have done all mine with my buffer and a little bit of polishing compound

 

I see that Harbor Freight has a H/L Restore Kit on sale for 9 bucks. Gotta use your drill. Can't go wrong with that. You'll need the coupon. Go to: 12 Minute Headlamp Lens Restoration Kit

 

I used Meguires for mine. Came with the buffer adapter. Worked great on mine

Pictures of my headlights with the before and after. Used the restoration kits that come with the drill attachment.

 

Update: I finally got around to working on the heaqdlights today. I have to admit I went the cheap route. I took a piece of 1500 snadpaper and wetsanded them and then polished them here are the before and after pics.

 

hey they turned out real good-gonna have to give that a try

 

drill a small hole inside, near the bottom on the right light, it will make the condensation go away, and bulbs will last longer. lights look good. want to do mine? I'll let cha.might burn something on the grill while you work for payment.

 

Thanks. Hey Charlie, how about you replace my rocker arms amd i'll do you headlights. I might even do the tail lights too.

 

I'll help with the rockers, just to help, you don't want to do my lights, I have too many trucks.

 

It only took me about 5 min total for each light.
