I'm in love!

Couldn't find one in south central. Bought it from a dealer in WA. Virtually online shopping. My wife's sisters drove it up the AlCan and came in yesterday.

See my new signature for details....

Thanks guys. Looking forward to dragging my camp trailer out this weekend. There are a couple hills I want to try out that my F250 used to choke on.

Nice ride indeed.

When I went to Juneau, I originally wanted to drive the AlCan Hwy and take the ferry from Skagway.
But it was early October already and the guys in Junea figured that:
  1. Most of the fueling stops would be closed for the off-season and
  2. That the Hwy would already be frost-heaving and
  3. That the road down into Skagway would likely be closed for the Winter by the time I got halfway there.

No dude, 6.8L V10 GASOLINE. Don't like diesels and I wanted to get one since this is the last year they're being made.

Thanks.

Hooked up my 7600lb camp trailer for a test run yesterday. There is this one hill by my house that my F250 would not pull up faster than 40MPH. And that with a quarter mile run at it. With the F350 started from a dead stop it was accelerating through 50 when I got to the top.

Didn't have a trailer break controller before, that works great.

The auto telescoping mirrors are sweet for backing around corners.

Takes the load fine. Had to put rear air bags on the F250.

And it turns tighter than the F250.

Going to the big Su with it for the long weekend. The extra cab room will be nice for our 3 boys. (Seems they just get bigger)

Well, I've only put about 6 miles on it. Wife has 300 already (sigh)

Mileage so far is 13.5 empty. Don't know about towing yet. Will after the trip to the big Susitna river.
