A better way to keep water out of your bio storage tank....

Another engineer friend of mine turned me on to this: https://www.pindellengineering.com/H...lter_Home.html

He has been installing these in marine fuel tanks, and said they work very well. I ordered a couple to try out. Your thoughts?

Don, are you going to put it on your tanks on the trucks or the storage tanks? I have my 55 gallon storage tanks sealed and full to the top.

I'm thinking of using them on the tanks that get used for daily fuel filling. As you know, every time you pump fuel out of a tank air is drawn into the tank to replace the fuel that is removed. My thought is that they will eliminate any moisture that is in that air, and make it less likely for the bio to retain water.

Good idea. I notice my fuel filter/water separater on my truck shows "water in fuel" after about a week of driving. I just drain it off.
Let me know how it works out.
