Super Crew Raptor Confirmed for 2011

According to a brief article from Autobrog.com's Steven J. Ewing the raptor is getting a second set of full sized doors for the 2011 model year. It is said to only be avalible with the 6.2 but my guess is that when ford drops the 5.4 from the regular f150's they will dump it from the raptor and leave it with just the 6.2. They estimate the base price of the Screw raptor to only be 42K give or take. Its a hell of a deal if you ask me. I cannot wait for these things to hit the lots.

I hear you there, i figure i will wait till these new raptors are a few years old and try and pick one up. It might not be new but it will cost half as much.

Yep, that's the position I'm in too. Unfortuneately, there are no new X's to be had a few years from now!

Yah, i really regret us selling ours. It was a slow beast but man was it huge and comfy. It was a 05 xlt v10 with all the options, but at 80k it blew a plug out of the head. So after we got it fixed that was enough of that.

I usually don't look at this forum, but a buddy is seriously thinking about getting the 2011 Raptor......So....Question.....

Anyone know if the 4-dr crew cab will have a chopped-off 5-foot bed instead of a standard 6-foot bed? I know the Chevy 1500s with the crew-cab have the 5-foot bed (6' for a super-cab).......

The crew cab will come with the same 5.5' bed that the SuperCab Raptor comes with.

I know I am probably not the first or second to see a new super crew raptor, but on the front spot right above the cab I saw my first '11 SuperCrew Molten Orange Raptor nosing over the sleeper of a 379ex hood Pete. Going down I-80 at 78 didn't have any time to grab the camera but all I can say is it was pretty much awesome. I just hope this doesn't turn the raptor in to a factory baja grocery-go-getter and replace every Fx4 and Lariat SuperCrew out there.
