Hello, Passing traffic on a bicycle on Oʻahu is NOT impossible these days.

BTW you must be on a smart phone. Thank goodness that is not against the

law......yet.

I still see way to many people on their phones while driving still.

Thanks for checking in. Reps sent.

Too funny- I had stopped so it was easy to type well. Usually the punctuation missing is the key evidence that somebody is texting & driving. Posting on a message board while riding a bike through the PC is a bit reckless even for me. Over by Lehua & Kam- now that's an intersection that you have to pay attention to at all hours!

I hate that intersection and the one up the road - Waimano Home and Moanalua.

I sure is a nice day, I am glad that I played hooky from work.

Oh yeah that 6-way is one of the worst in all the US- at least all the parts I've been to. It's a hot one but beautiful for sure!

Aloha! My Firestone Destination LE's are finally wearing out- even Wally Ho may not give me another Safety check sticker now! It's the 2nd set that I've taken to 75,000 miles with ZERO problems- best damn tire I've ever bought. Well, Firestone quit making them because most people can't tell the difference between the infamous Wilderness A/T's and every other world-class Firestone product that Henry Ford's cousin Harvey Firestone's company has produced since.

-end rant-

Does anybody know where I can get a set of 4 new or 90% treadlife-remaining 255/70/R15 tires? I'm not married to Firestones (despite my rant) but I want either Firestone/Michelin/Goodyear and I really like that 255/70/R15 size.

I got a new job at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in K-Bay starting in July and I don't want to be that poor soul on the side of the H3 changing a tire in the rain!

Hey John, congratulations on the new job!

My Dad was a Marine, he was stationed at Kaneoe Bay during the sixties. My Mom was a painter and she painted several landscapes there that we still have. My younger brother went to HS there.

Good luck on the tires.

Plenty Ford trucks, they are the most popular trucks here, especially

PSDs. Even a couple of early Bronco and Dentside sightings.

How are things with you and yours?

Took me an hour and a half to get home from my job site last night,

23 miles away. Good thing I peed before I left! Getting older sucks, never

Can tell when the body needs to take care of business.
