They made them in 95 and 96. They're not really that rare, there's quite a few fellas around here that have them. Although I'm not to sure how many the made with 5 speeds and 300 6 bangers like that one from the ebay ad had, most of them I've seen had V8s and automatics.
Like I said there's of few of em around here, here's my 96 Eddie Bauer Edition...
yeah if you do a google search ford made plenty of them in 95-96 before they changed to the redesigned 97 F-150 (which i have never liked any of the 97+ years)
Although I do not have an Eddie, they are well worth it. I have always admired all Eddies since the First Bronco IIs came out.
Fullsize Broncos and F150s are tops though
If you ever have an opportunity to buy one, do it before they all disappear.
What's up with that interior? Looks either leather or vinyl...I've only seen EB's with cloth. Think its an add-on?
Roger
Yeah, I'd say something's fishy with that interior. First of all, I don't think leather was an option; if it was, something was changed out in the truck's past. Perforated leather on the door panels? Maybe. Seat color doesn't match, etc. And secondly, that center console setup is in no way factory. Also, as seen on the EB examples above, there should be fiberglass running boards on the EB edition. Straight-six and manual in an Eddie Bauer? Possible, but very unlikely. That would make this truck truly rare, but not necessarily desirable.
The seller's over-hype smacks of used car dealer BS. It's a nice-looking truck, no doubt, and it may well be an Eddie Bauer, but it ain't stock. He'll be waiting a long time to get over $5,600 for a six-cylinder, manual tranny, shortbed, standard cab, 14 year-old pickup with missing parts.
My '93 has (had) some EB goodies, but I don't know if they were a retrofit or from the factory. I had the running boards (gave them away), no 4X4 sticker on the sides of the bed, one-tone color (beige/gold) and a 40-20-40 front seat in tweed. I also have the front bumper with the extra rectangular holes.
Mine has the same seats but it had the center seat that folded down , the console & drink holders were on the back of the seat ....so when the seat was folded down that was the console.....
