Free beer from the neighbor ... he has connections with Pyramid.
Actually I have been brewing for 18 years and my two best favorites to bottle are a Barley Wine called "Bacchus Ale" (full bodied beer with alcohol content close to wine) and a clone of Mac & Jack African Amber (recipe from The Replicator). I am using a defunct recycled old 15 gal stainless keg for a brew pot... allows me to do double batches at one time. (total 10 gal of beer instead of 5 gal).

Fav beer or microbrew?? Hmm. You really want me to narrow it down?? haha
Im going with Hefewizen.....the brothers of the Widmer clan (Kurt and Rob) are at the top of my beer list, and Weinhard makes a good Blue Boar Ale.(i don't care for anything else Weinhard makes) As for walk in alehouse's.....Diamond Knot in Mukilteo is down right tasty and so is McMenamin's in Mill Creek. Flying Pig in downtown Everett is nice too but its been awhile since I've been there.

A buddy of mine introduced me to Widmer Drop Top a couple months back. I haven't been able to find it, maybe not looking hard enough... unless they keep the stockpile in Vancouver. But good beer - kinda reminds me of Blue Moon. Kinda has a hint of Orange. Would be a great summer beer.
I also like the Hefewizen from Silver City Brewery in Silverdale. Maybe it's just me, but it kinda tastes a little like bananas. Another good beer, and you can get 'em in 24 oz bottles!
