All 1973/79 F100's, all 1975/79 F150's and some 1973/79 F250's (depends on the GVW) came with single piston caliper front disc brakes.
1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase: 1973/76 Super Camper Special / 1973/79 Trailer Special / 1977/79 Camper Special. Ford dropped "Super" after 1976.

So as to not confuse the buyer that they were buying a Super-Cab, which had just come out two years prior, in 1974.
Speaking of 1974, I drove the '74 today. I also got an insurance quote of $615 a year. (Can you say rip-off?) I need to get a topper & get those commercial plates off the truck, the registration is $100 I don't have and is due in October.

You know doncha that once you remove the commercial plates that you cannot have so much as a hammer in the bed.
No commercial plates, no tools of any kind. If a cop sees tools, you'll get an expensive ticket, I kid you not.

What is the world are you b!tchin about? $615.00 a year for insurance for an 18 yr old that lives in CA is a roaring bargain! Are you sure it's one year and not 6 months? I assume this is liability only.

(Ignore the Econoline, I assume that is a typo.)

Better verify the rate, cuz it could quadruple.
My yearly full coverage insurance went up 5 bucks to $1055.00 a year, when I traded the '08 ConFusion in on the '11 F150 oversized elephantine behemoth.
I'm 50 years older than you w/a perfect driving record dating back to 1959.
Filled up the tub yesterday, $4.29 a gallon, total was 90 bucks. Your Stupor Cab will be about the same. Maybe you should buy a Toi-let-a RAV4 like "Squire" Don did.

Pain in the *** to do a U-turn.
I don't want a newer vehicle, more expensive to insure, register and buy parts for.
I will call the insurance agent back and verify that is the correct amount. I'm gonna pitch a fit if it doubles because that's an F-250 not a E-250.
I also have a perfect record dating back two years or so, maybe 3.
