How do you remove body mounts?

I'm getting my frame ready for sandblasting tomorrow. How do I get the rubber cab mounts off? I can't find a decent diagram but it looks like it should just pull apart once the cab is off. what am I missing here?

I used a 7/16" coarse thread bolt 6" long. Screw it in from the top and hit it with a big hammer. The lower and upper mounts will separate.
This doesn't work for some people but it has worked for me every time I've tried it.

You may have to spray them with some wd-40/pblaster/liquid wrench and let them soak a little bit then I find that a 3 pound sledge works well

I used the longest 7/16 bolt I could find which was about 4" but worked. I had to greatly persuade it with the 3lb hammer but they all came out. Thanks for the help!
I took the body off the other day. Removed the engine and tranny today and absolutely everything else except the frame, springs, and tires. It's a bare bones rolling chassis!
Gonna power wash it in the morning and drop it off at the sandblasting place. I'm gonna use the Eastwoods Rust converter and sealer as it seems to get better reviews that por15.

Torch or sawzall unless you are a real glutton for punishment.

my brother in laws neighbor works for a trucking company and uses chassis saver on all their rigs. after checking their website i found that they don't recommend sandblasting ( which i was going to do ) so for around 100.00 bucks or so i can have this guy spray my bare frame saving me a few hundred by not having it blasted.

My neighbor has almost talked me out of blasting. The guy at the sandblasting company was sick so it didn't get done today.

soda

might try a soda blast instead of sandblast, i understand the soda is much gentler on than sandblasting.
