Flathehead Ford OD?

I got a fella here who claims he has a 3 speed with OD for the flathead. Says It came out of a 1950 car. I* know that ford had threespeed ODs from the late fifties to the early 70s but I have never heard of one for the flathead. Does anyone know if this is for real.

Are the damn things worth much? I want the one for the 223 as it will go behind a 292 ford. He just said $200 for the pair. Said they worked 20 years ago when they were pulled but says they should probobly be rebuilt now due to sitting on a shop floor. I would like aflathead car but find the engine to be pricier than even the Y blocks.
