1961-1964 262 6 cylinder questions

I just bought a '60 ford f100 with a '61-64 commercial 262 swapped into it. It's supposedly in the same family as the 215 and 223 motors.

I think it needs a valve adjustment,
Does anyone have valve lash specs for this motor??
Or any other sources of info?? I'm havin a hard time finding info on it, thanks for any help.

Timing is at about 6-10 degrees.
Lash .019.
Plug gap .035.
Point gap .025

I got these by just googling ford 223 tuneup. A factory service manual from 1958-64 truck would give you a solid ballpark figure.

You're in it. You can also try the appropriate years pickup forums here. If you can't find help/directions to/ or what ever here it does'nt exist. Great site/ people. Only my opinion.OBCB
