1979 & Older Ford Crew Cabs

If you see any laying around in your area, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know. 2wd or 4wd it doesn't matter as I'm trying to locate some body pieces rather than drivetrain stuff.

Thanks,

I'll keep my eyes open. As soon as the snow melts, I'm heading to Upull-it, so I'll let you know if there are any there.

That would be great!!! I've never been to U Pull It, but I told Chris that we need to head over there some afternoon and see if there is any old Ford stuff laying around. Plus, I want to try and find some SuperDuty seats for my crew cab project!!

Last time I was there, a few years ago, they had a whole herd of older Fords. I hope that hasn't changed! I love walking through there.

Hey Joel,

I know you're always looking for me!! Was that extended cab a 2wd or 4wd?? Was it in your area, or did you spot it during one of your travels??

Good question. Its not to far way from me about twenty miles north. I believe its 4wd but Im not for sure. Didnt look at it close up. Its been parked for quite awhile. Next time when this weather clears I will take a look.

If you could find out if it is a 4wd, and if it's a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton that would be great!! I maybe interested in it for the front diff, and I'm sure I could find someone interested in the steering setup.

I'm going to be in your neck of the woods this weekend, but I probably won't have time to go adventure for any junk

If you are willing to travel to BC. I know a little too far. I have seen one for sale on the side of the road in a town close by.

Not sure if any of you guys would be interested, but I found a 1967 F350 Crew Cab LongBox 2wd. Runs and drives. Body is pretty good for the year/model. I think it would make for a pretty cool restoration project just not for me. I'm pretty sure $1500 cash would drive it home. Post up an e-mail address if you would want me to send you some pics of it, or if someone sends me an e-mail address, I can send them the pics, and they can post the pics on this thread??

Wow. If I didn't already have mine, I'd jump all over that! Change the frame to a 4x4, that would be awesome!!

I hear ya!! If it would be a 4wd, it would already be sitting at my place!!! If I didn't already have how many other projects that I can work on, I would consider buying it to convert it to 4wd someday as well!! Plus, I'm running a little low on funds since I just bought an aluminum headed 514 for my crew cab project
