thanks for the compliments guys.I have been asked if it was an EB edition, but I don't think EB was available in the flareside. It doesn't say it on the truck anywhere,it is an XLT though. To be honest when I 1st bought the truck,I didn't like it because the bed was smaller than a normal size bed and I could haul less, but the looks have grown on me,don't think I can get rid of it now

really? that explains it....i bed a 87-91 would look cool with one of the 92-96 flareside beds on it...

i think im gonna keep the style side though
i love the look of the flaresides too but around here they are really expensive where i can fix me styleside for almost free and not lose that space
bigblueflareside has a truck almost identicle to mine with flareside, its 6" lift 35"tires and came color without the stripe, his is a bit more fancy and clean though...looks awesome...

Your truck looks great,Bill. There are several good things about 2WD.One is the ease of driving,I have 2WD and love the steering, really handles sweet,of course I don't do off road, but that's not why I have the truck. When I go to my other house up in the upper peninsula it's 365mi.,mostly 75mph freeway and it handles that great and the other thing is that it gets 20mpg doing it.I really don't mind 2WD when my friends are shucking out big $$$$ to get front end work or parts done. There are a few times when 4x4 would be nice, but 95% of the time,I don't need it and my wife's Explorer is 4x4,so I'm not going to be without wheels when the snow gets that bad.I was raised on 2WD,so I get around pretty good.My buddy is like an old lady,we get 2"of snow and he's in 4x4,I'm driving 65mph on it with my 2WD.lol.

Thanks a lot Doug!
I kinda feel the same way. More to maintain and to swap gears is twice as expensive and twice the headache. Less weight. I still wish she was 4x4 tho! I looked awful funny the other day spinning on ice in a truck tha looked like it was 4-wheel drive. lol!
