Wink Can anyone confirm no fuel filter on 2009 Escape?

I spent some time the last couple of days trying to locate a fuel filter on my 2009 Ford Escape XLT. I went by the dealer and they pulled-up a diagram showing no fuel filter.

Can anyone confirm that there is no fuel filter on this model?

It's listed in the Maintanence Schedule book but that book is pretty generic! I can't find anything in the '09 Ford Workshop Manual about a fuel filter. I'd be surprised if there wasn't one though!

Wink

Unless somebody comes up w/ some specific info indicating there is indeed a fuel filter, I've pretty much concluded there is no filter on a 2009 Ford Escape v-6 XLT.

Thanks for that information. I never bothered to check the owner's manual. I'll now know not to worry about replacing the filter periodically.
Thanks again!

I thought that the filter might be in the tank but Ford's own WorkShop manual doesn't show one there or anyplace else!
