Anyone know of some good Pick n pulls, preferably in or around Flint. I just don't want to drive up Dort and stop by at every junkyard...maybe a little help from you guys telling which ones are worth my while?? By the way I have a 95 F150 4x4

 

what do you need for your truck, that would help more.

I cannot remember the name of the one I always went too, it was up further towards mountmorris.
Tigers on bristol isn't to bad, but they are dicks over there.

 

Well I'm wanting to do the 'rear leaf lift', using F250/350 leaf springs on my F150. Are these something you'd get at a pick n pull? Other than that I'd just be browsing around looking for any treasures.

 

Mine that were on my f150 were junk yarders.

Are your springs sagging? if they are still good springs, you could just do a rear shackle flip to get about 2 or 3 inches in the back.
Far cheeper to buy some grade 8 bolts than to buy new springs and u-bolts, bushings, yada yada.

Do you have to do alot of fabbing for this rear shackle flip? My leaf springs are in real good shaoe from what I can tell... And say I did this, would there be any way to raise the front, maybe coil springs from and f250/350 up front?

 

I duno about the fronts.

The shackle flip just requires you to grind the rivets off the rear shackle and bolt it onto the frame upside down.
gives you 2 to 3 inches of lift.
