Welcome to FTE
how do you plan on using the truck? There are many options to cure problem. Mini spools are quick and easy to install but not steetable IMO. Automatic lockers are more friendly on the street if your not hauling a lot of weight like towing a trailer, limited slips are better for that.

Please turn off the caps lock.. it's hard to read.
You want a limited slip diff, and there are several ways you could get one, install a complete LS rear axle from another truck, or change just the differential using either a used LS diff or a new one. You'll have to do some research in your area to see what those options are going to cost, it could vary wildly depending if you are DIY capable or would have a mechanic do it.

Be careful about junkyard 8.8" axles though. One of the problems with this axle is that the pinion nut likes to back off, which can cause pinion bearing and pinion seal failure. If the axle is leaking gear oil this is almost certainly where and why. If the damage is bad enough you may end up rebuilding the whole thing. Just be careful and make sure you get a good replacement if you end up deciding to swap out the rear axle.
BTW posi-traction is a GM term, we don't use that kind of language around here.
