F100 Steering Wheel

Can anyone please tell me what year steering wheels will fit a 1971 Ford F100. For example will the years 1973 thru 1979 work on this. Thanks!!!

Welcome to FTE

1971/77 F100/350's, and 1974/77 Bronco's are the same (except for 1975/77 F100/350's with Cruise Control).

1971/73's were originally available in Black, Blue, Red, Green, and Tan.

In 1974, Ford obsoleted all these wheels except Black which has been reproduced by Dennis Carpenter.

They changed something can't remember what in 1979. Anything 78 and lower should work not saying it will for sure though.

1978/79 is the same, but not the same as 1971/77.

I am installing a tilt column out of a 1979 truck in my 67. Will a steering wheel from a mercury capri or mec zepher work or does it have to be from a truck?
