Talking Breakin the rules, but its Oregon

Hey Oregon. I know this is Ford Trucks, but come on. I got a new indoor winter project. I've been busy. I picked up a '63 Futura 2dr. Falcon. It was a little banged up in the right front, and had a little rot in the left rear. I got BIG plans for the little bird. I've got pictures in the photobucket link, so check 'em out. It came with a parts car, that was pretty rough, but will yield some pretty usable parts, so I'll be building away.

I like the older Falcons a lot. Sounds like fun! A guy on another site is stuffing a beefed up "Y" into one for the dragstrip.

That's cool. I saw an article in an older Falcon book where they stuff a built 312 T-Bird motor in a '60 Falcon. It was pretty trick looking. I'm going the route of a 347 Stroker with EFI. I got a 5.0 roller block from an 86/7 Town Car with a roller EFI 5.0 in it. I'm going to top it with AFR heads, and an aftermarket EFI kit from FAST, and it should be in the 450+ range on the HP side.

That sounds radical. Dont bust your noggin . I'm pretty laid back. 250 - 300 HP seems adequate.

Whew, I saw your name, and thought I was gonna have to go see the principal. Thanks, as the build progresses, things will change here and there.

Well, I got some more accomplished on the Falcon. I got the parts removed from the donor body. I am working on cleaning up, and prepping the nose section for installing on the '63. I will hopefully get the nose on the '63 tomorrow, and maybe even get the quarter panel prepped for repair

To understand Joe, is a feat no one person could possible undertake on his or her own. When it comes to Fords, just about all pre 70ish cars, or trucks will do. So, to answer your question, it is an unwavering YES.

Making some progress on the Falcon. It's completely stripped, except the suspension.
