Thanks Pat, I have already found some very good info on the starting switch issue I was having, I think the cold weather basically finished it off. Looks like I'll be installing the new switch this weekend. My son just came home from being in the Navy for the last four years and has resurrected his 86 F150, 302. This was his first vehicle and has big plans to restore this truck, I thought we could help each other and do both trucks at the same time.
Hey Andy, thanks for stopping by! What did you son do in the Navy? I was an aircraft Mech. for 4 years in the 80's. Good plan doing both together, you'll have to show us pics when you guys get started!
He was with the VA211 Squadron based out of VA Beach, VA. He worked with the electronics on the F18 Super Hornets. His squadron did a rotation on the USS Enterprise for about 7 months in the Gulf last year. I think he's glad to be home, he will be going back to school full time next semester here in Kearney.
