What are some other good topper brands besides ARE?

Jason, Leer, ARE, and may others are out there. It's kind of a consensus that ARE is top dog in fiberglass.

I got rid of a leer for my ARE...The Century caps are also very nice and i almost went with it but got a better deal on the ARE

What makes the ARE better? Built differently? Hardware? Fit?

Yes I beleive it's the hardware. Both my Leers would never latch properly. I would have to slam the back door to get the left side to latch. There top of the line model, Browning edition. A friend from work currently has a Lear on his F250 same issue, except he blew out the rear window trying to get his to latch. My .02
