Clutch rod to clutch pedal plastic retainer
Was driving home last night in my 96 ranger and the clutch pedal when to floor as i was coming to a red light. I had to just hold the brakes and let the motor stall out. The Clutch Master cylinder rod came loose from the clutch pedal. There is a plastic bushing/retainer that holds the rod to the pedal that looks like it broke. Does anybody know if you can buy just the retainer and where can i get it? Dealer maybe. Any part numbers?
Thanks

I would like to know this as well. As you know I just replaced the master cylinder along with everything else, and no matter what I tried to get that clip off in one piece so I could remove the rod from the pedal nothing worked so I just broke it. I havent had any issues with the rod coming off yet in the past week but if you can buy just the clip I would definitely like to put a new one on so I never have to worry about the rod coming off of the pedal.
