Hi all
I see I have been accepted to join the elite.
Intro:
Probably on the younger end of the crowd numerically. metally, well Gerber taste good. Anyhow, I am typically involved with 70's firebirds and mopars, however, I am not brand partial. I like things that spark interest. So why am I here? A few weeks ago I picked up a new (at least to me) shop truck as parts chasing and stuffing engines in the trunk of my car gets old real fast. I always liked this era of trucks and one came along that seemed half decent. The truck or Ol' Yella had been sitting for quite a few years. good thing is that I got the original title & order invoice and its history fully traced. some fresh gas, oil change and good battery brought the fella back to life instantly. a brake job and tires yielded a reunion w/ state roads. It rocks. some plans are being tossed as to keep/ modify/ swap drivetrains. I specialize in custom/ modernizing vintage vehicles. for now I just enjoy as is. enough jibber jabber.....
I introduce you to Ol' Yella. 1956 F100. I6, 3 on the tree & dana 60 w/ 4.88 (yeech. not much good for anything above 60, but it could tow your house down).
I am from Roxbury area
