Gas Prices

Anyone ever notice how the gas prices vary from station to station? The prices here seem to range from $110.9 to 115.9 for regular. Anyone paying less in their neighborhood?

o.k. wise guy. It is a well known fact in the Union that the State of NY likes its taxes. The State did not miss an opportunity with respect to gasoline. I suspect a fair amount of the revenue generated by the gasoline tax is actually spent on the road salt which promptly eats our trucks. There is something wrong with this picture.

Gas Prices

Man, you guys are blessed paying $0.98/gal. Hell, even $1.10-1.15 is cheap. Out here in the east end of Long Island, NY you can expect to pay from $1.39 (cheapest I've found) to $1.70 or so, for 87! Premium is $1.90 - $2.00. Diesel ranges from $1.49-$1.80 or so.

Every year some politician pledges to do something about the high gas prices. Every year the gas prices stay high.

My 2-bits.

Thanks for stopping by. We're over by Syracuse. The 66 took $22.00 this a.m. at $1.459 There are a few stations at $1.379 but they are off the beaten path.

Gas Prices

If I stop on the way home from work, I'll pay $1.50 a gallon for 87. If I really hunt around, I might find $1.40, but it costs so much in gas to drive out there & back it's not worth it!
