Idiot of the Month Club
I took my 49 F3 to the do-it-yourself wash in Apple Valley this morning to give the engine and transmission a good cleaning. I'm standing in front of the truck intently washing the nooks and crannys above the valve cover when I hear a thud and the truck moves forward smacking me on the knee. Surprised,I walk around the driver's side of the truck and proceed toward the rear of the bed when, to my horror:-staun I find a Jeep Grand Cherokee impaled on my trailer hitch. Upon further investigation, I found that there was no driver in the Jeep. Now it was time to go gunning for the idiot who left the engine running and either the vehicle in neutral (and it slipped into drive), or he left it in gear and got out it. I got to the front of the washing bay and met this idiot coming back from the change machine. After a few harsh words on my part and removing his damaged vehicle from my undamaged bumper, I told him to not do anything as stupid as this again, he left in a hurry with his tail between his legs. With all of the stories in the paper regarding road rage I think he thought I was about to deck him, for he left without saying another word. What is it with some people these days? I hope he thinks about it when he's paying to get his Jeep fixed.

I can say this. When I go to the do it yourselfer car washes there is never enough room for anyone else to pull in behind me. Saying that I take up more than half the space. But on the downside there is only a few that I can fit in to. (26ft bus) As for my truck I do that in the drive way. exept for winter months. even than I have the plow on and I intentionaly take up a lot of room.
