Changing the fuel filter will be good if it fixes the problem or not.

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key on but don't start?

Should be some sorta hum, not sure though.

I would have voted cam position sensor, William, any way of moving him into one of the superduty threads?

Hey Tim, long time no see. Glad you got into the Ford family. Did you get the truck running by changing the filter?

I know you can't figure who this is by my "name" here, actually last time we ran into each other was at Hooters. Ironically enough we are have a get together there on the 7th, show up before you head to Cali.

To take the question out of who I am......Rich Yonkers.

Uhm, pat, its a v10, not a PSD. =)

if that it would be a "crank position sensor"

Yea, tim. You should post this in the v10 forum to get the best help. Only one person here has a v10 that I know of, and that is green machine johns dad.
oh, dan's uncil or somebody he knows has one also.

Agreed, but I still stand with the CRANK position sensor. I am pretty confident in that answer though.
