Just picked up a 79 SWB F100

I think I got a great deal on it for 1000! I had to drive all the way to Atlanta for it, but drove it sight unseen all the way back to Montgomery. 300/3 speed combo, and the only real rust is in the bed floor with rot on the front bed crossmember. I am pleased with how solid it is otherwise. Cab corners, rockers, bodymounts ALL good!!!

Ok, here's the pics.

Nice. I've got a soft spot for short beds. They are the best for hot rodding. Good luck with your new truck!

A grand for a truck that is missing a turn signal lens? Man...you got screwed!!!

Just kidding, that is an awesome deal! You can't hardly get anything for a thousand bucks these days. You could probably turn a major profit on that thing with little effort.

I've wanted one of these for at least a couple years.

I am seriously contemplating a 302/AOD swap.
