Not really.

we were hired to bring out three moose this weekend and butcher them and the task was easily done with the Super Duty!

last year alone in Vermont we had 155 collisions with moose and autos, almost 90 of those on Interstate at highway speeds and not surprisingly we've had 13 fatal accidents with moose and cars and that's ofcourse 13 too many.

I love this SD but boy do I get stuck alot, even with 12 pounds of moose onboard I had to lock the 4x4 in to make a grade, spinning and sliding on the gravel, I blame the tires but boy, I don't know....I think it's too long of a wheel base (153) and straddle and there isn't enough weight on the tires to get good purchase.

I've been stucka few times so far in 4x4 but I still love this truck!

So make sure you come up to Vermont, see some pretty scenery, watch some moose and take some home with you! we can spare them.

 

Hey Simon...a friend and her husband are part of a local team that gets called out when there is road kill to be harvested. They belong to a sportsmens club and use the meat for their game suppers.
