Deer 1 my wife 0

Lisa totaled her car on a big deer. She hit it going 55 mph. She was very lucky. It hit the front of the roof & went over the car. It could have come inthe front seat if it had hit lower. Lisa & here mom were not injured other than minor cuts. It knocked the roof back about 16 inches. She wants another Marquis or Crown . She was going to get a smaller car. Now she thinks the Mercury kept them safe.

did you get a salvage permit from DPS for the deer? no sence in leaving it by the side of the road. you can do that here in AZ if you hit any big game then you get to eat it!

Glad everyone was alright!

Yeah Howey, you had to have collected the deer, if I hit one it's going in the freezer!

The deer got away. It fell down several times before it got out of sight. It didn't leave a blood trail. I bet it broke his ribs by the way it acted. Oh well Lisa wanted a newer car anyway. She had the 00 for 8 yrs. It was a great car. Almost trouble free for 168,000 miles. I'm testing a few crowns & marquis this week. I hope to find a crown with the sport package.

Glad everyone is OK.
I really don't think I would eat one that is beat up. The meat has to be bruised up pretty bad with a 55 mph hit! WOW, and it walked away!
