Looking for some parts

I'm looking for an old headlight switch for a Econoline. I need the shaft and bezel. I have a new switch. I'm also looking for an upper door hinge, the one that goes to the body. The body shop lost one.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks Joe - Southern California

The headlamp switch **** & shaft is a one piece assembly, and does not come with the switch. The headlight switch bezel is a separate part.

C1TF11661B .. HeadLamp Switch **** & Shaft Assy / Obsolete

Fits: 1961/67 Econoline / 1961/66 F100/600.

MATLOCK FORD-MERCURY in Franklin IN has TWO = 800-987-3673.

FRED GRANDE FORD in Richmond MI has TWO = 586-727-3415.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has TWO = 800-543-4959.

JST AUTOMOTIVE in Lebanon TN has FOUR = 615-443-3086.
-----------------------------------------------------------
C1TF10852C .. Instrument Cluster Bezel "Lights" / Obsolete

Fits: 1961/67 Econoline

PHILIP MOTOR CO. in Philip SD has ONE = 800-859-5557.

GRIESEL MOTOR CO. in Okarche OK has ONE = 405-263-7242.

No other Ford Dealer, no obsolete parts vendor has any.
------------------------------------------------------
C1UZ8922800C .. Right Upper Door Hinge / Obsolete

Fits: 1961/67 Econoline

WILLEY, INC. in Ames IA has ONE = 515-233-1913.

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has FOUR = 606-787-5293.

GREEN SALES CO. has FIVE.

Note: To use this hinge on the left side, reverse the hinge pin.

This procedure may seem odd, but it's as original.

Next time you ask questions, please type the year.

Searching thru one parts catalog (1957/63) is easier than searching thru two ('64/72).

Bill,
Thanks for information. Sorry I didn't post the year. I thought early Econoline implied 61 thru 67. Is the bezel and **** shaft the same for the Econoline, Falcon and/or Ranchero? The switch looks to be the same???

Thanks
Joe

I have seen an early model Econoline (1961 - 1964) instrument panel that appears to have been an option, that has gauges instead of the warning lights for the generator and oil pressure. Any chance that one might be kicking around anywhere. Is there maybe a suitable update available??

Thanks again for the help.

It does, but...

Is the bezel and **** shaft the same for the Econoline, Falcon and/or Ranchero? Nope.

The switch looks to be the same???
The switch is the same, but..
Early Econoline 1961/67: But...there are TWO different parts catalogs: 1957/63 and 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalogs.

Since you didn't mention the year, I had to look in both to see if the part numbers were the same 1961/63 & 1964/67 for the bezel, the **** and shaft.

I knew from the get-go that the hinges were all the same.
---------------------------------------------------------
The headlamp switch (C2DZ11654A) is the same: 1961/64 E100, 1960/63 Falcon/Comet.

But the E100 headlamp **** and shaft (C1TF11661B) is not the same as Falcon/Comet (C1DZ11661A) **** and shaft.

The dash configuration is different, the Falcon/Comet **** does not look the same as the E100 ****.

The E100 "Lights" bezel is not the same as Falcon/Comet.
--------------------------------------------------------
The two idiot light lenses for the OIL & GEN fit into bezels that are removeable.

The optional Oil (C1TF9273A) and Gen (C1TZ10850A) Gauges fit into these same two locations in the instrument cluster.

From the parts catalog pic, everything else is the same.

But...you will also need the specific dash wiring harness used when these two gauges are present, the oil pressure sending switch instead of the one used with an idiot light.

I found 36 NOS oil gauges, 41 NOS Gen gauges, the oil pressure sending switch is EZ to find at autoparts stores, but where will you find the wiring harness?

No one had any.

Bill,
Thanks for the reply on the instruments. It looks like I would have to replace the instrument bezel as well, as the gauges are larger than the gen and oil light indicator holes?? Would you agree?
Thanks

The idiot light lenses are much smaller than the bezels they fit into.

Parts catalog pic shows the gauges fitting into the same spots as the idiot light bezels without any additional parts required.

The instrument cluster face has four holes in it, the cluster back that the gauges fit into is the same for idiot light bezels.

So...all you need are the gauges, the oil pressure sending switch (the one for the light is different)...and the wiring harness.

Oil and Gen gauges

Bill, Thanks again for the info on the gauges. In your post you indicated that there were 36 oil gauges and 41 gen gauges avail. Can you tell me which supplier I can go to to buy?

Thanks
Joe

The switch is the same as early Falcon. These are reproduced and available from Macs, Dearborn Classics, Autokrafters and Dennis Carpenter.
