ok im really confused, do you have to be a member in order to have a galery? and if not how do i set mine up?

 

No, you don't have to be a member. Go to the User Gallery, click "Create/Manage Your Gallery" and you can set one up through the web interface it will give you. Members can post more pictures but you should find that you can still post plenty of pictures.
