Air bag light, no horn, no cruise??
Just wondering if this is gonna be an easy fix or not, as i don't have a lot of spare time to take the truck in to get warrantee to take care of it.
The problem:
About 3 weeks ago i was at a mud bog working on my broken race truck, and my 08 f-150 (4x4 ext. cab with the 5.4) dies on my when i go to start it, it just conks out when i go to start, ends up being the battery, as it was stone dead and wouldn't take a charge either, so i quickly change the battery with a spare i carry when i'm racing.
Anyway shortly thereafter (i think its that same day or the following day) the air bag light light starts turns on, but theres no warning sounds as the owners manual would indicate if there was a major problem. Then on my trip down to the family farm this friday i notice that the cruise control won't turn on, and when i went to lay on the horn to ward off a fastly approaching deer i come to discover that it isn't working either.
Now all these problems to indicated that it was a steering column problem and i proceded to check for burnt fuses (as i did use the truck to jump start the race truck so i thought i may have done something there), but in my short period of checking i didn't find anything, but i didn't check everything.
So anyone have any ideas that i could quickly check, a burnt fuse or bad relay, or a unconnected electrical connector by chance? I do have the ability to check codes as i do have a hypermax programmer that can pull any codes.

F150 clockspring - Google Product Search
Your exact clock spring may look different.
Disconnect the battery.
Wait at least a half hour.
Always wait for power to drain to avoid premature airbag deployment!!
Remove the airbag pack from the steering wheel
Remove the steering wheel
Remove the lower column shroud
Disconnect the wiring for the clock spring
Remove the clock spring from the column
Reverse the process to install clock spring
