Valvoline Premium Blue or Mobil1. Both expensive but the best in their class.

I've seen the mystik and was wondering how it was. I know their red grease is and always has been the shtick. Ever had an analysis done on it?

If you hurry NAPA has the Valvoline 5w-40 syn on sale at $17.99/gallon. BUT, sale ends today (9/30). I just wiped my local NAPA out of 12 gallons. Actually called Saturday and had them order it in for me. That should hold me for a little while. Now, if Pep Boys would get off their a** and put the Fram filters on sale again, I'd be all set.

I agree, you'll never see that sale again on $3.50/ea. Fram filters for the Powerstroke 6.0l! I bought 15 all together thru the sales they had. I was down to 11 and panicked and bought 2 for $9.50/ea. when K-Mart had a recent sale.

I like the Amsoil AME 15W-40 oil. I've used Schaeffer's 5W-40 and Shell Rotella 5W-40, and the Amsoil is a better oil. It is also the most expensive. I can go twice as long on the Amsoil before I have to change it. So it ends up costing less!!

To answer your question NPC never had a analysis done but I know my truck sure loves it, queiter and smoother than the motorcraft or rotella for me. The mystik is a syn blend / CJ-4 rated think it is $22.00 for 2 gal jugs. Each person has the brand they love and rely on. User preference
